It’s the little things that take root, like kind words, unexpected support, or a story that hits just right. 💬🌸
I just want to start by saying, thank you.
The response to last week’s newsletter truly blew me away. So many of you replied, messaged, or stopped me in person to say how much the reflections around rest, clarity, and intentional living resonated with you.
Your kind words, support, and personal stories mean the world. This community isn’t just growing, it’s thriving. And I’m deeply grateful to be on this journey with you.
Want to Pay It Forward?
If something in these newsletters has ever made you pause, reflect, or take action, share it. Forward the email. Send the blog link. Text a friend. Post it to your story.
You never know who might be quietly struggling, quietly stuck, or quietly ready for something to shift.

What Paying It Forward Actually Looks Like
Last week, I had the opportunity to hear Jon Rice, former GM of Sierra-at-Tahoe and now Head of Ski California (yes, that’s a real title… and yes, “Skiiiii” still gets a wink from me) speak at the Envision Tahoe Summit right in my hood of Kings Beach.
He shared the incredible story of how Sierra came back after the devastating Caldor Fire. The loss was immense, buildings, trees, terrain. But what stood out was what happened after.
People came out of the woodwork to help.
Why? Because Sierra had meant something to them.
They’d had their first ski lesson there. Proposed at the top of the mountain. Shared unforgettable powder days with friends and family.
They remembered the people, the service, the experience.
Jon said it best (paraphrasing):
You build your “bank account” in the good times. And if you’ve shared love, service, and kindness freely, people will show up when it counts.
You don’t do it for the return.
But when you need help… it’s already been seeded.
What This Means for Us
We’re not just building bodies and habits here, we’re building community. A foundation. A ripple effect.
Every time you show up with kindness…
Every time you support someone else’s wellness journey…
Every time you give without expectation…
You’re paying it forward.
And trust me, it always comes back around.
So whether you’re forwarding this to a friend, giving someone a compliment they didn’t expect, or holding space for a loved one, know that it matters.
We’re all better when we lift each other up.
With gratitude and good vibes,
Coach Christine
